Everything in music is round - the sound hole in a guitar, the opening of a saxophone, the head of a drum…like a pebble dropped into a pond - sound likes to vibrate in the shape of circles. Music is round - and always will be. The core wire of a guitar or bass string is the foundation of how that string vibrates, how it feels, how the guitar ends up sounding.
