Mr. Richmond Danquah, a versatile musician who started playing the bass guitar at the age of 18 is the CEO of RD Bass Consult. Richmond read Business in Opoku Ware School and furthered his education by reading BSc Development Planning at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. With hard work, dedication and persistence in his practice, he has grown to become an exciting and renowned bassist. He initially started as a drummer at the age of 16 and learned how to play the keyboard as well but picked up the bass guitar a few years later. With his stage name “Aviola”, Richmond is currently endorsed as an International Artist for MTD bass guitars as well as an Endorsed Bartolini Artist. He is also the sole distributor for MTD bass guitars in Africa and the retail distributor for Bartolini pickups covering Ghana, Zambia, Nigeria and Tanzania. Representing these two companies has been an amazing achievement as a young entrepreneur and musician. He attributes his success to God knowing that without Him he would not have come this far in life. Aviola’s debut album dubbed “Heaven’s Dew” is available on all online stores and is blessing nations. He has been able to come out with several bass tutorials. Among them are; DVD Bass Lessons, African Praise Tutorials, Bass Nuggets, etc. which has served as a great tool for all level of bass players worldwide. It’s availability online has made it possible to serve musicians in the world with bass players in Ghana, United Kingdom, United States of America, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Cameroon, Canada, Germany, Jamaica, Holland, Ukraine, Australia and other parts of the world having their copies of the tutorials. These tutorials have been of tremendous help to the bass community worldwide. Richmond has had the privilege to play for renowned Ghanaian artists like Kwabena Kwabena, Adina, EL, etc. He has shared stage with notable artists worldwide and recently played for Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayra Starr at one of the biggest events in Africa dubbed “Afrochella.” Throughout his journey of bass playing, he has always had the passion to help other musicians develop their talents. This great burden led to the establishment of RD Bass Consult in the year 2016. RD Bass Consult are the organizers of the biggest music workshop in Africa dubbed “Bass Connect Africa” as well as the brain behind RD Bass Academy. Bass Connect Africa is a music workshop aimed at bringing musicians together to learn, share ideas and interact with each other to build a strong empire of bass players and musicians. Over the years, He has had editions of Bass Connect Africa in several countries namely Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Nigeria, etc.
